What is Ceramic Coating? Ceramic Coating is ideal for exhaust components and parts exposed to
high temperatures. It provides a dramatic reduction in heat, accelerates
the flow of exhaust gasses and protects engine parts. Most ceramic
coating colors have been tested to over 2000° F without lifting,
cracking or flaking.
What colors are available? Satin Black, Gloss Black, Cast Iron, Chrome, Gray Ice, Shiny Aluminum,
Turbo Black, White, Orange, Polished Aluminum, Matte Black & Satin
Blue. We also have a Clear Coat (Extra Fee) to help protect your ceramic coating.
What's the usual turn-around time? Usual turn around time for ceramic coating is about 3-4 days depending on coating availability. Give us
a call ahead of time to schedule the procedure if you're under a tight
schedule.
Are ceramic coating and powder coating the same? No, ceramic coating is applied in liquid form and cured at high temperature. Powder coating
is applied electrostatically then cured at about 400°. Powder coating
will not survive the high temperatures that ceramic coating will.
Pricing Here are some basic prices! All polishing on Chrome Ceramic Coating is an extra service charge. Only the Chrome Ceramic Coating can be Polished out to a mirror finish. Any Ceramic Coating can have a Clear Coat except Chrome. Clear Coat is 50% additional to the price and must be decided upon ordering. Clear coats can not be added to an existing ceramic coating job.
